When you join The Woman’s Club of Rock Hill, you become part of something bigger. Our members are connected not only locally, but also to the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, the world’s largest volunteer organization for women. This means opportunities to get involved at the local, district, state, regional, and national levels, all while making a meaningful impact right here at home.

For more than a century, clubwomen have come together to serve their communities in powerful ways. We support the arts, promote education and literacy, care for our environment, encourage healthy lifestyles, advocate for civic engagement, and work to support seniors, individuals with disabilities, and causes that strengthen communities and foster understanding.

Our membership year runs from May 1 through April 30. We meet on the second Monday of each month from September through May. December is a festive holiday social, while March is our Annual Business Meeting. In April, we celebrate with a dinner meeting where new officers are installed and new members are warmly welcomed.

Most meetings include time to connect and socialize. Members gather at 5:00 pm for social time, Community Service Program committees meet at 5:30 pm, and the full meeting begins at 6:00 pm. It is a wonderful way to build friendships while serving together.

Every member participates in one of our five Community Service Programs, which guide our charitable projects and outreach:

• Arts & Culture

• Civic Engagement & Outreach

• Education & Libraries

• Environment

• Health & Wellness 

Through these programs, we organize hands-on service projects and community support efforts. We host beloved community events such as Victorian Teas, Super Bowl Dip pickup, Kentucky Derby parties, and more. These events help fund our community projects and support the care of our historic clubhouse and gardens.

Our members also take pride in maintaining the beautiful Armstrong-Mauldin House and its restored gardens, which serve as a gathering place for service, celebration, and connection. In addition to service, we enjoy social activities planned by committees and by the Club as a whole.

Above all, The Woman’s Club of Rock Hill is about friendship, purpose, and community. We are always happy to welcome new members who want to give back, make meaningful connections, and be part of something special.
